On September 16, 2022, a wounded cat arrived at our home. She had suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was in need of immediate care.
We took her to a veterinary clinic where she was treated and released the following day.
We then contacted the county looking for a solution, but did not receive one.
That moment created a realization: the absence of an existing solution does not mean the problem does not need solving.
